We charge by the page for general transcription. Our page contains 23-25 lines (230-250 words), and the
rate is determined by the type of recording, the expected delivery of the transcript, and the quality of
the audio.

Specific Rates for General Transcription:
Single speaker (speeches, dictations, lectures):
• $2.50 per page for volume (at least 4 hours of recording per submission), delivery in 10 days.
• $3.00 per page for 1/2 to 3 hours of recording per submission, delivery in 5-7 business days.
Two speakers or one-on-one interviews (one interviewer and one interviewee):
• $3.50 per page, 5-7 business day delivery.
Three or more speakers, for example business meetings, conferences with Q&A, press briefings with
Q&A, conference calls, one interviewer with two interviewees:
$4.00 per page, 7 business day delivery.
We will provide you with a secure link to upload your audio. However, if you need to physically drop off your tapes or CDs to be transcribed at our office, please include with the package a business card, and an agenda or a list of speakers, if any. Make sure all tapes/CDs are labeled properly. Finished tapes/CDs are NOT returned. If you wish these tapes/CDs returned, please send a courier to pick them up, or send us your DHL or FedEx account, or a prepaid envelope.

All rates apply to clear and audible recording, with native or near-native English speakers, discussing general knowledge.
Difficult audio, such as "foreign" accents or non-native English speakers, audio source far from speakers, technical words (medical, legal, foreign words, industry-specific words, etc.), meetings with many cross-talking (as in focus groups), loud background noise that interferes from understanding the speaker's words, etc. are charged extra as it takes more time to transcribe.
